Jordan Melo M5 Officially ReleasedLast night, celebrities, artists and professional athletes came together to celebrate basketball All-Star and Gold Medal Olympian Carmelo Anthony and Jordan Brand’s launch of the Jordan Melo M5 basketball shoe. Jordan Brand, celebrated the memorable event in honor of the talented basketball star at the Siren Studios in Hollywood, California with a guest list that included both celebrities, teammates, and tunes by DJ AM.

The Jordan Melo M5’s design complements all five positions on the basketball court. Weighing in at only 15 ounces, its light weight allows for point-guard-like quickness; its natural flexibility ensures quick transitioning for shooting guards; a molded heel counter and inner collar padding create a superior fit for any small forward; heel and forefoot Zoom Air give a power forward advanced cushioning; and centers will appreciate the added support and stability the shank plate and outsole offer for the physical low-post game.

Look for two colors of the Jordan Melo M5 at Jordan retailers tomorrow, November 22nd for $125. Some online retailers including Nike, Finishline, and Eastbay will be posting these as a midnight release.

    The M5′s come correct this season. They are really looking good this go around. Like a more comfortable 23 in the picture.

    They really made leaps & bounds from the M4 to da M5. The M4 was sweet tho dont get me wrong. . . But these are some beautiful Melo’s right here. These are more of a dress shoe more so than a court shoe i think. I just ordered both pair & they on da way. Ima rock em to def!

    I don’t know why Jordan Brand would cancel the Melo line. The Melo line is the top selling signature shoe made by any company besides Air Jordans. The Melo line has outsold both LeBron and Kobe.

    not a fan of the m series but i am feeling the M5 its def hot, these colorways r ok but the HOH denver CW’s r fire, prolly will cop later, gettin the UWR lebrons for now and thinking bout the yankees also gotta check it out in person

    Nicekicks… please test my hypothesis someday. In all cases possible, when throwing a preview out there, try to Photoshop a the jordan logo and replace it with something else. Then lets see how many fools flip-flop their opinions when they find out they are really J’s.

    WHAT PEOPLE DON’T UNDERSTAND, is with player signature shoes like the Melo’s, those shoes are marketed towards the general public, but when it comes down to it, those shoes are essentially made FOR the player himself. It’s what they want in a shoe and what they want it to look like. If the player doesn’t like the shoe then they remake it. So with these shoes, Jordan Brand does listen to what the public has to say, but it doesn’t mean a whole lot. THEIR GOAL IS TO PLEASE THE PLAYER the shoe is made for, NOT NECESSARILY THE ENTIRE GENERAL PUBLIC.

    not too excited about these i bought them like around 1 at the mall they said they had them out since 11 and i was the first to get a pair so i dont know if people noticed them or jus didnt want them but i dont care cuz i’ll wear them anyway

    Why get excited about a shoe to man who is averaging 16pts a game wont make it out of the first round of the playoffs and to be honest isnt in the top 5 players in the western conference in the class he came out in Wade got a ring Bron went tto the championship and he has yet to make to the Finals with the team he had last year of Iverson, Camby, Smith, Nene Martin you get swept!!! You get a gold medal but you arent mentioned in the top 10 players of the league you cut your hair to change your image please get your game on track shouldve got traded to the pistons and then you couldve been used to winning and going deep in the playoffs his season endeds in late April early May basically the 1 round of the playoffs thes shoes should be released at dicks sporting goods!!!

    The Jordan Melo M5, they’re ok. These are such a big coppy of the Nike Hyperdunks. They’re ok, but get a better designer.

    I personally think that dude needs a new desginer. You know how it is with Jordan Brand. Once they start combining shoes (PRIME EXAMPLE:FUSIONS!!)that means they’re running out of ideas. He better change something or the Melo M6s are gonna be straight gar-Bagge.

    I just bought the Melo’s today. I got both color ways (Court Blue & All Black) they look better on your feet than the pics you see. My opion still stands though!!
