Converse Pro-Leather 76 Suede Hi – Red/White

Converse Pro-Leather 76 Suede Hi - Red/White While Converse is not as consistent with its basketball kicks as it was in the past, they still seem to drop original classics in exclusive colorways from time to time. We have spotted one of its original models, the Converse Pro-Leather Hi, in a solid red suede colorup with slightly ‘aged’ outsole.

Check out more in-depth pics of this sneaker after the jump. Via Mita.

I’m old skool, but if I was a youngin’, I’d rock these til my toes pop out—–any solid suede color!

^^”EWWWWW”? come on man, you gotta come harder than that!

Nice but I’d prefer leather over suede on the Pro model.

  • Jerronimo

GROSS! I’d take a leather pair like the one’s Dr. J rocked back in the day. These look like shaved Elmo slippers.

Classics. Anybody who’s got anything else to say about these can go and look at the fact that Converse shoes RULED the NBA game ’till the mid 1980′s.

Please, stop pre-aging shoes. If it’s not OG it doesn’t need to look as old as the og. Thats the point of a retro. A retro has to be a little different from the OG, it wouldn’t be fair to OG owners for them to be exact re-releases, and even if they were in design there is no way they would be in material quality, knowing most sneaker brands. And even if they WERE exact in every way, they werent made at the time of the original. The date on the tag inside the shoe is going to read 2008 on a retro. When you pre-age a retro, it is almost like you are trying to pass them off as og.

It’s not bad on this shoe, I just had to say it. It really gets on my nerves when good releases get messed up by being “pre-aged”. There is a reason people look for the best condition ogs possible.

I’d wear these, the sole doesn’t look aged, it looks off-white.
