I know, I know…those of you that despise the Jordan 20 find it hard to spend $310 on one shoe, but it’s hard to pass up the Jordan 3.

not gonna lie…..even though i have 2 unworn pair and 1 worn pair of the black cements from 2001 i was still excited for this pack. my greedy ass was still gonna grab a pair or two but after looking at the quality….they just dont seem right. and then i also realized with the fugly 20′s…they just werent worth the price. a couple more hundred and i can get another 2001 version. i think thats why people are hating the shoes.

not every on has the luxury to buy $400-$500 og’s to wear and not to stare at!!

A lot of you guys complain for no apparent reason. A lot of you front like you guys have the 2001 retro or even the OGs. A lot of you say just buy the 2001 retros on ebay. You know what? That isn’t smart at all. Go ahead and buy yourself a DS pair for 350+ on ebay, wear, and worry about them cracking and crumbling on you. If you want a pair from 2001, then buy a good condition used pair, that’s the only way you’ll guarantee that they will be wearable. The same goes for the IV’s package, where the 1999 Black/Red IV’s have a higher risk of cracking and crumbling by wearing a DS pair. If you disagree with me, shows how much you know. If you’ve bought a DS pair, and are lucky enough to have one that didn’t break on you after a few pairs, all the more to you.
No I didn’t buy these, and no I don’t have the 2001 or 1994 retro nor the OG from 1988.
You can’t complain about the quality on the Carmine VI’s and Hare VII’s as far as packages go, I say the quality is decent, as I own both; though I didn’t buy the whole package. The II’s from the CDP were also an OG colorway. As for OG colorways that’s not a package with “poor” quality since JB started making poor quality sneakers, in my opinion at least; Military IV, Grape V, and Fire Red Black Tongue V; complain all you want, finding a pair of OG’s that are wearable, good fking luck. The Fire Red III, Fire Red “Mars” IV, Cardinal VII, Black/Red “Playoff” VIII and Aqua VIII’s all had pretty good quality in my opinion.
I’m done ranting. Just my two cents. Just coming from a dude who’s been a Jordan collector for years before most of you new cats.

they got some sizes of this pack still left over at Nike.com fwiw. I am going to roll over to an out-of-the-way shop on monday, if they got them then I will see how they look, and if they’re clean I might cop. Otherwise I’m gonna just save my money for the 6rings which drop next week.

People are taking this CDP wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too seriously! These 2 pairs are not that bad. And comeone sneaker people, just like everyone knows, each CDP had 1 good one and 1 bad one. It’s not that the XXs are bad AJs to begin with, the colorway is so uninspired. I’d have paid +$25-50 to have gotten an OG colorway… same concept applies to all the CDPs that’ve come out. The quality’s very good, the shoes are well constructed, and the price’s not that bad. $310 for 2 pairs of Js? That’s just $155 each! The AJ XX3s cost $185 PER PAIR! The XXs debuted @ close to something like ~$175 ea. Most people only want the IIIs anyway and like some people have commented, you really can’t wear any of the OGs and original retros because they’ll fall apart. And just because the jumpman emblem is on the heel and the word “Air” replaced the swoosh and whatever the OG had? I mean comeone, that was back when it was the “Nike Air Jordan,” wayyyyyy before Jordan was a spin off individual division like entity of Nike. To keep down price and to maintain demand, $310 is actually not a bad deal; I think these CDPs have been a steal. Some have obviously been less in demand compared to others but overall, I’m satisfied with all my CDPs!

I know what you mean, times are hard luckily where i live (las vegas) they allow lay-away so it makes buying the packages realistic, so maybe you should check around and see if there are stores that offer the same chance. I have a wife but only one child, but a lot of bills as well but im a diehard shoe collector so i find a way….
to everyone else those XX’s are ideal to hoop in, i personally think that all black shoes are the best color to hoop in… so stealthy.

Before I decide to buy the 11/12 CDP, I really would like to know what the 12s will look like. All the CDPs have had 1 in a mostly suede colorway. I pray that the 12 won’t come sueded because you really can’t suede the 11s. If they suede them (which I think they might; i.e., look @ the 12 Fusions), I’d still buy, but you won’t wanna wear them to the club and get beer spilled on them! That almost happened to my CDP VIIs, and I almost died.

Y is everyone complaining about the 20′s? The funny thing is if this colorway came out originally, I don’t think too many people would have been complaining especially due to the fact that they were 175$! How many black sneakers come out anyway that you see on people’s feet on a daily basis? Look I always looked at the CDPs as 155$ for a pair of sneakers. Last time I checked that’s a 20$ discount 4 years after the fact! I comeon this web site everyday and all I read is people complaining and whinin- stop it. BTW, I think everyone’s age should be posted, I’m real curious if more than half of ya’ll that come on this website are still in high school or less. Respect the game, please!

Stop arguing like middle school children. This is to discuss the 3/20 package, which in my opinion is a let down. Those bashing on the ’01 retros for being retros, they are looked at better because they came out during the times when this style was not popular. I personally don’t like these ’08 retros because I feel they are made of cheaper quality and made just to make money and meet the needs of the little beasts of these days…And yes, I can afford this crappy package while still having my own pair of ’01 retros, and ’94 retros.
