Ray Allen NBA Championship Jordan 11 PETonight, the NBA tipped off the new season tonight and like many opening nights, the top NBA stars took the court showcasing their new sneakers for the NBA season. The Boston Celtics took the court before the opening game to receive their rings for the 2007-2008 NBA Championship wearing gold and green sneakers. Ray Allen stepped onto the court in what could be argued to be the craziest pair of White/Metallic Gold-Varsity Green Jordan 11 PE’s.

Reactions have been mixed on the boards this evening about the shoes, but why don’t you make the call? Get a good look at the kicks after the jump and vote “Dope” or “Nope” to these shoes.

    MAN THOSE ARE UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember saying that there’s 1 pack this year that you cant mess up no matter how hard you tried. That was the 11-12 pack. You just cant go wrong with those. But after seeing this? I didn’t think you could make the 11′s look so ugly. Kudos to whoever idea this was. Whoever likes these, thats’s their opinion, but I would wonder why. Is it because they are jordans? As a lifelong Jordan head, i will say this shoe is hideous. I dont care if Mike literally made this shoe with his own hands. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I could understand gold outsole with green patent. But that would be a stretch too. MAN WHAT A UGLY SHOE!!!!!!!!!

    Yo would ya’ll lame cats please stop saying somebody is hating if they don’t like these joints? Since when is it a crime to not like something everyone else does? Its called an opinion and everyone has one just like they have mouths to speak it with. If you dont like what the next man has to say keep it moving but just because someone disagrees with you dont’ mean they are haters it means they just don’t like what you like. That being said I think these 11′s are just ok.

    These are basketball shoes, they are meant to be worn on a basketball court, and as such, these are amazing. Yeah, they wouldn’t look good with a jersey and a fitted, but who in their right mind is still sporting that outfit? The gold is absolutely beautiful and with the touches of green…wow! I’m about ready to declare these the greatest pair of kicks we’re going to see all season, it will be very difficult to top them.

    I’m #100 and I say the shoes are great because they have INSPIRATION behind them. Plus Ray Allen’s been deserving his ring so why not get him a pair of the freshest P.E.’s we’ve seen in a long time. Good Job JB!

    Sir or mam…may you please re-read the article and understand that P.E. stands for Player Exclusive. that means their typically made just for the player, so chances are they have such a “rare” look, you mayb believe there not real. But i’m pretty sure that a nike/jordan brand championship winner like Ray Allen is offered his fair share of player exclusive colors for his sneakers.

    To all you clowns, these are cool BECAUSE Ray was wearing them. I wouldn’t wear them, but they bananas because dude just won the championship. He probably won’t wear them again. They also had special jerseys. I think it was a great idea.
