Offspring x New Balance M576 Masters of the UniverseCelebrating the opening of their new online store, Offspring has collaborated once again with New Balance. The Offspring x New Balance M576 Masters of The Universe Pack is the latest collaboration. You know everybody out there was watching He-Man battle Skeletor when you were a kid. Now the battle can continue in the form of sneakers.

The New Balance M576 is a perfect silhouette for collaborations, and we’ve seen a lot in this, it’s 20th year anniversary. Most recently from Atmos, with the “Hologram”. The Masters of The Universe Pack has me wondering who is a fan of the Skeletor 576 and who is a fan of the He-Man 576? For me it’s an easy, choice. He-Man’s got the better of Skeletor in this battle for Castle Grayskull.

This release from Offspring is available now for about $140. Via Hypebeast.

    Not sure about this concept but “masters of the universe” sure brings back memories…I swear there is still a battle cat (minus cool accessories) laying around my moms house.

    IMO the Sesame Street New Balance colorways were way better LOL! I swear if the Cookie Monster didn’t have the muppet on it, I would rock em lol!

    I’m gettin tired of cartoon themed sneakers for adults. Even the kid’s Spiderman buddies at Payless seems like a breath of frest air. But I guess these are ok since they don’t have any goofy cartoon characters on em.

    i dont see the concept in the sneaks…they just look like colors with no real or distinguishing reference to Masters of the Universe…Skeletor still

    Nice, if only b/c I hadn’t thought about masters of the universe in about 10 years. Thanks for the memories new balance. Too bad the kicks are not my style at all.

    I like the NB 574′s better… Skeletor version is ok. If I was going to do a cartoon theme sneaker, I would be all over “Street Sharks”!

    The ‘Skeletors’ look like an Easter release. Man, Offspring & NB REALLY dropped the ball on these.
