Nike had a decent drop in 2005 with their first Halloween Air Force 1, but their sophomore Halloween shoe needed some tutoring. I was never keen on the “Scarface” idea of splitting a shoe up the middle. Always reminded me of what bootleg Throwback sellers did when they ran out of jerseys to hustle. The one benefit to the all patent upper was no matter how many drinks you had, your shoes were somewhat safe.
