i’ve never really liked the cortez and i really don’t mess with black kicks too much (other than for playing ball)….but i’m really feeling those classics. the subtle hits of yellow and red…and THAT GUM BOTTOM!!!!! i don’t recall ever seeing a gum bottom on a cortez, but it definitely works!!

I was never a big fan of the cortez. It’s allright but Nike running shoes before the 80′s were garbage imo. Nike did better when it moved into basketball shoes.

If I was a sneakerhead in the 70s, I doubt Id have been wearing much Nike. Blazers and Franchise excluded. I’d kill for some franchise his.

no comparison… i totally agree with number 3… the toebox is a lil akward… so the og cortez’s take the cake
