Nice Kicks Staff Picks Week 4

Air Jordan Jumpman D.J. Agustin PE – Peter Sim

Nice Kicks Staff Picks Week 4

First off, I would like to commend JB for finally bringing these back because I will definitely be getting my black/royal blues when they drop. Hands down, the Jumpman Pros are in my top 3 balling shoes of all time not only because they are sturdy and lightweight, but also because they are comfy as hell. If you haven’t already read the post about DJ Augustin (DJ Augustin signs to Jordan Brand), he just recently signed on to Jordan Brand. The Bobcats recently played the Pistons and DJ was rocking an ICY Jumpman Pro PE. Its hard to tell from the pic, but the shoe is mostly black with orange accents along with what appears to be a graphite suede upper with orange threads. I’m guessing this colorway will never see the light of day, but still G nonetheless.

    first…. srry jus had to

Engvall forces are not that great… Im so sick of elephant print. It’s an okay print, but it’s not THAT great. I don’t care if he used it creativley.

How many people are on the NK Staff now anyway? Seein alot of different opinions in the articles, which is good. I hate hearing “I don’t rock forces” with a passion but that’s their opinion. Then the guy called it cement print…. You know, I’m not even gonna say what kind of sterotypical collector I think he is.

Forgot to say, the waterproof af1 lows and the hajime af1 his tie for best shoe of the week imo.

  • greenmaker24

    those af1s r the best

I’ve personally grown to like my AF1′s, a great pair to own for anyone at any time (formal, casual, MAYBE ball). I think that the design is great, but it (and the colorway DEFINITELY) is being boosted SO BAD. It’s not that great; it actually should be a standard of Nike to come out with GOOD, creative, new designs such as this and their use of the CEMENT print. The fact of the matter is that they make BAD designs, then come out with average ones that will seem AMAZING compared to other designs when it’s really just average and the others are just bad.

QUESTION(S): What does the CL in some Nike Dunk models stand for? What is the difference between past & CDP retros (quality-wise)?

  • TokyoMike

^^The difference in past retros and the recent CDP’s quality is like comparing a Mercedez Benz to a Ford Festiva with the windows broken out and no tail lights…..it seems like the shoes in the new CDP’s that barely anyone wants (19′s, 20′s etc) are decent quality, while the one’s people have been waiting YEARS to get (I’s-V’s for me) are made out of a combination of wet toilet paper, cat vomit, and dog crap (excluding the III’s which are pretty decent quality and comfortable.)

  • xnyles

^^ Yes you are 100% correct very disappointed with JB at this nonsense i only bought one CDP and was the Carmines and couple solo i.e III , VII, V(which was the worst Js in term of quality i have ever put on and don’t get me started with the IVs.
