Hybrids started rolling out of stockrooms just about the same time that dealerships were rolling Prius’ onto the showroom floor. Some hybrid sneakers have been better than others with borrowed features from different models, however something of a recent trend have been hybrids that carry a theme from a signature series with final products that may leave some consumers scratching their heads.
Next year we will see the release of the Fun Police mashup Zoom FP, Penny 1/2 Cent, as well as the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid that borrows designs and colors from some of Agassi’s best shoes.
Hopefully, this trend has limits and lines that will not be crossed, but hoping that a few in Beaverton will take some notes, we have assembled a list of hybrid sneakers we hope to not see on the market – ever.
