Air Jordan 1 “Olympic” Detailed Look

Team USA had one goal in mind this summer in Beijing – redemption. A series of disappointing outings at FIBA World Championships as well as the Athens Games gave the team something to prove. Gold was won in Beijing and the US can claim to be the best in the world once again.

Jordan Brand has an Air Jordan 1 releasing soon that pays tribute to the team’s efforts. Colors are on point drawing inspiration from the iconic Air Jordan 7 “Olympic” that Money wore while dominating the world in Barcelona. The shoe is a bit of redemption in and of itself with many Air Jordan 1s that have released this year in great colors, but only in kid’s sizes. Thankfully these will be available to men September 13th for $100. Get a good look at the shoe after the jump.

I think at 200 dollars, this is an easy “get 2 pair” situation. They look great and I think they will be the number one seller and a favorite for everyone.
The 6 Rings concord might eclipse the AJ 1 Olympic, but its not as likely considering the price tag is higher for the 6 Rings.
As for the AJ countdown 22 + 1… LMAO There is NO WAY IN HELL those are going to sell out. I will admit that the black and whie colorway on the 22′s is the best colorway that Jordan put out for the 22′s. They actually look nice. The AJ 1′s looks super plain.
So who’s getting the 8 (loved by many) + 15 (probably the most hated Jordan sneaker EVAR)? I may get those cause I want the 8′s and the 15′s actually look ok for once.

Don’t forget folks, the infrared Jordan 1 highs are dropping in January. These are dope for $100 though and I just happen to have $100 to spend.
