Air Jordan Fusion 3 Release

To date, the Jordan Fusion 3 is one of the most successful model in “fusing” the Air Jordan upper to the Air Force 1 sole. The flat sole of the Air Jordan 3 makes the job easier than with other Jordan shoes to accomplish a seamless mixture, but the added heel Max Air makes this Fusion as close to the original that one could get.

Of course there will still be some Jordan purists who will fore go the Fusion 3′s in original colors, but expect this to be the best selling Fusion to date with the insane demand for the Jordan 3. The big stores will sell the shoes online if you wish to chill tomorrow rather than heading down to the mall for these Air Jordans.

    No retro Jordans in the first part of 2009 as of now. Don’t count on JB doing away with them forever though.

    I just bought two pair from finishline. Had to pay for shipping (mbe could have gotten it for free with some other site) but finishline double-boxes so it’s worth it imo. Too bad their free shipping promo just ended. Got a 9.5 and a 10 because I heard they run a little big and I want to make sure I get the good fit. (normally I wear a size 10)

    These shoes go hard. I love the tumbled leather. IMO the black ones are hotter than the fire reds… but you know I’ll probably buy those others too. Do you think they will sell out at Nike.com right away? Is it worth it to stay up?

    Thanks Rauls054, I will just sell the other pair probably. Not trying to make any money, minus my cost of shipping. Pretty sure I’ll be able to sell whichever fits me worse for at least cost. Plus I get winners cirlce points from finishline, ha!

    Just left finishline and they had plenty of these left the store employee said that they hadn’t sold one yet at 5pm. As for me this are a PASS will wait for the day on the unfused retros.

    AS FAR AS FUSIONS GO, THESE ARE TRULY THE MOST SEAMLESS PRODUCTION YET. I THINK THESE TWO COLORWAYS ARE CLEAN. IF YOU ARE REALLY A FAN OF THE O.G. JORDANS, YOU CANT DENY THAT THESE ARE THE BEST FUSIONS TO DATE.

    I got the white ones just now from pickyourshoes.com, they have ALL sizes at Nike.com, and uptempoair.com has them too. Everybody except Nike.com has the black ones. (I thought the white/cement were a quickstrike at first and nobody told us!) BTW IMO I wouldn’t have came out with the black ones- they’re undervaluing the 20/3 pack.

    I see that there is a visible air bubble on the picture shown but not on the picture on NDC. That one guy from the sneakgeekz video got his early and i think his had the visible air bubble on it. But….I was on niketalk.com the other day and said that the actual release was going to be the ones w/o the visible air bubble. I dont know, which ones is it???

    haha, when did this turn into a sneakgeekz flame fest?! Don’t hate on my boy Carlos, he shows off some cool kicks well before they are released. Unite by our love for sneakers people, lol.

    Anyways, still haven’t copped the white ones yet. The black ones were automatic, copped them right away. I know I’ll probably get struck down by a lightning bolt for saying this, but I really love how these look, they are very clean. Love the AF1 body dressed with Jordan swag, and to be honest, I want the fusion 3′s more than the cdp 3′s. I have been disappointed in the quality of the cdp’s. My 5′s (from the 18/5) are of a lesser quality than the 5 fusions, imo.

    Right now I got a pic of the cdp 3′s open in another window (from fcny). Both are very beautiful shoes imo. Everyone here should be able to respect both kicks for what they are and for how they look. Love for the shoe.

    Well i have wanted these since the first pics were posted a few months ago but yesteday when i had them in my hands i was very disapointed. I bought some jordan sandles instead and i am way more happy with my purchase because those shoes look so fake in person! its too bad the carmello colorway was the best quality shoe out of these because it should’ve been out of these latest two. i would much rather buy 3 pairs of fake 3′s then buy one pair of real fake looking fusions.

    Mall opened yesterday at 10:00a.m.,at 10:10 I had them in my hands(the black ones). I really don’t understand what the major beef is with people not liking the fusions. They’re still nicer looking and of better quality than a lot of shoes I see today. The same people who dislike fusions, will go out and spend $180 or better on something like a pair of Supras(very ugly & very wack…but you always see rappers in them…)The fusion 3′s are hands down one of the nicest pair of sneakers released this year, and on another note, I finally saw the 23 lowtops up close for the first time, and my honest opinion is JB needs to stick to mid and high top sneakers. 23 lowtops=not right.

    some stores have only black, other stores only white…i had to go to my local urban account (city source NY, in case anyone from strong island is here) for the whites, and foot locker for the blacks. but i got both.

    and boy do they look good. i’d rather have 2 pair of fusion 3s, especially in these colors, than any package that’s getting released this year. actually, these are 2 of the hottest 3 pairs of jordans for all of ’08, the only hotter pair being the burgundy and gold fusion 5s that opium and colette had.

    and i normally don’t do fusions. but for a while, i’ve been thinking that 3s with AF1 toeboxes would look hot, especially in OG 3 colors. and i was right.

    This fusion is the best yet… I got both and they are comfortable and definitely get the 3/20CDP. I think it is worth it.
