New Balance 575 “Rawhide”

Don’t get it twisted, we love the Staple “Pigeon” New Balance 575, but this sneaker doesn’t need a collab with a respected designer to hold its own. Though the New Balance 575 has many pieces and panels highlighted through contrasting colors on many models, New Balance gave the shoe a slimmed down look with a predominantly black colorway focusing more on the high grade materials than popping colors. A rich rawhide leather covers most of the upper with a side panel of black faux-horse hair (calm down Peta). Pics from Sneaker Freaker.

yo NICEKICKS i have a qeustion im 13 and i wanted to know how me being my age can start a sneaker collection I already have Alife (orange),Alife mayonaise,Jordan 20 westcoast,New balance 991, air max 1 (freindly football,or India),Vans authentic all black,and adiads snake skin high top purple.Any suggestions.

that’s a solid lineup kid. At age 13 I was still obsessed with hacking my Commodore 64 to play Star Wars games made for MS Dos.
Much respect for keeping an eye out for multiple brands too.

I’d put Matt way over 100 pair. but that Commodore 64 comment took me back. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a Commodore 64 SB yet!
anyhow, as far as the shoe.. I’m a big NB fan, but horsehair? the rawhide looks very nice tho..

number of sneakers is really like age. It has a numerical value, but it only means what you make of it. I honestly don’t know how many shoes I have, but what matters to me is that the pair I have on my feet reflect how I feel for that day.
About the Commodore 64 some more, I actually played Skate Or Die on that system first which was so funny that they made an SB for it. The game played so much better on a joystick with one button than the NES game pad

Boy if i’d known at 13 what i know now my collection would be 10x’s more crazy! It’s neva to early to start. And once again NB has really done some Big thangs this year i def gonna be checkin the NB store and Live Stock for these.
