Air Jordan 5 Countdown Pack

Air Jordan 5 Countdown PackJordan Brand has kept a better lock on the back door recently and has kept the Air Jordan 5 in the upcoming 18/5 Countdown Pack much of a mystery for all of us. While some individuals had information about the color and added details such as a #23 stitched to the side, no pairs were lifted landed in the hands of the usual suspects that sell retro Jordans many months prior to their release.

The only original colorway of the Air Jordan 5 that did not release two years ago in 2006 is what we will see in just a few weeks with the release of the Jordan 18/5 Countdown Package on August 23rd – White/Fire Red-Black. Start saving everybody. Photo from KATC.

    I’m passing on this pack like I did with the last one. I’ve never wanted the 18′s and the only difference in these’s 5′s and the Retroed version is the black. Sorry nike you are not getting my money this time eventhough I love the 5′s.

    I see some major exaggeration in here. Obviously, dude is just frontin’. But I ordered my pair on PYS yesterday. Should have them this weekend.

    Darneezy taking the plunge on those ones! Actually, this is probably my favorite pack so far. I am a total fiend for the 18s as well as the 5s.

    I just couldn’t see myself standing in line for them (haven’t in years) and it’s been FAR TOO LONG since I last had the 5′s (5th grade)! Missed out on the 2000 retro versions, so I had to go for it. (hurts the account though) lol

    But I’m loving the 18′s as well. It was the white/blues that I fell in love with, when MJ played his last All-Star game in Atlanta, which the East should’ve won.

    By the way, the pic does them no justice at all… trust me.
    The red almost looks infra in the above photo (for those who of you who are thrown off).

    Also, I’m not so much irritated by the 23 on the sides, as I thought I would be, although it should look something like they did on the OG fire reds (if they want to do that) but also because of the fact that MJ actually played in a pair of these with the 23 on the sides as well.

    Just hit up pickyourshoes and you’ll see the actual color of them, which will change minds immediately. Nothing on these are different from the OG and ’00′s, aside from the obvious things.

    Matt/anyone know if MJ ever actually had “23″ put on the side of this particular colorway during the 1990 season?

    (I obviously know he had the Black/Silver 23 stiched on for regular season play and the other white/Black/Red colorway OG’s actually had the 23 stiched on)…

    I content with the Womens Air Jordan Retro 5 (white / fire / sun) that i copped for 89.99 @ Finishline. I wore them yesterday and heads were turning so… I’m good and goodluck to everyone whose trying to cop these.

    A must cop for me. i remember when i bought my first ever pair of retro j’s first year of 8th or 7th grade (cant quite remember) it was when the white royal and yellow colorway came out along with the white, grey and blue colorway. Got my hustle going as a youngin and copped the royal and yellow pair. The 5′s are mos def my favs. One

    But manne I knew wat the color was go be but now looking at em its a beautiful thing i got my money saved for these mugs u juz gotta have ur priorties str8:

    1) CDP
    2) college tuition money
    3) rent

    I love the 18′s and the 5′s this is one of the best packages yet. But the only thing that gets me is that they one come out in black and red. Nike acts like they dont know that Jordan played for the Wizards too. So how bout a blue pair.

    This is a question for some real Jordan heads, I just need to know this for when I drop even more money on Js: how do u prevent the soles from yellowing so fast? is there a way to keep them stored that reduces yellowing?

    ^^^ mcmcnyc- to answer u manne juz get the silicon packets from a shoe store and throw em in the box with the shoes and it will help out to keep them icy but also not gettin them wet or even where em will help 2. lol

    dont make a mistake and dont cop this pack, i got the 2006 retros and they r still fresh but they have a black tounge instead of a reflective tounge. these 5′s are fiiirrreee and the 18′s are looking good to. dont second chance yourself these are one of the best packs other than the 10/13 6/17 11/12
