Eggplant Nike Flightposite and Nike Foamposite

Nike has taken famous colorways of retro models and applied them to other retro sneakers that have pulled off quite well. This past summer we saw not only Air Force Ones, but also Court Forces that sported the color tones of classic Air Max kicks. While we will see the anticipated second coming of the “Eggplant” Nike Air Flightposites in October, the original posite shoe, the Nike Air Foamposite, will release next February dressed in this color up as well.

As with other Foamposites the retail price will be $200, but given the color, comfort, and quality of the Foamposite, there shouldn’t be many gripes. Since Nike is bringing back the Flightposite this year in a slew of original colorups, perhaps could we see the Carbon Fiber joints? Please Nike…?

    ^ Running a 7 (or 8) store operation is not as easy as a lot of people would think. For every shoe that you see Nike or any other company put out that you say “pass” to, the retailer is getting stuck with stale inventory while having high monthly expenses in the form of Mall space rent, employees, and insurance.

    About the shoes though, what do you feel about Flightposite colors on a Foamposite? what about gold?

    i think it works better than the flighposites… maybe i think that because i was never a big fan of the flighposites… houston needs to add some mom and pop shoe stores or another premium goods on the westside… gas is really hurtin me… i cant drive too far anymore haha

    OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE IT…I’M THE BIGGEST FOAMPOSITE/FLIGHTPOSITE FAN IN THE WORLD AND THE EGGPLANT ARE MY FAVORITE!!! Feeling like I died and went to heaven…must cop those foams by any means necessary :-) And if Nike makes the foams in gold the excitement might cause me to have a stroke…lol

    actually balled in the flightposites in the 8th grade. Not a bad shoe believe they were like 180 or so then also…gosh those were the days! :)

    ^ The carbon shank on the Foamposites give the shoes MUCH more lateral support. Almost to the point that it’s restrictive.

    Eggplant is the tight colorway. Always liked the foamposites over the flights but def not a fan of the gold colorway.

    Im So glad they Have the Foams in this Colorway, I cant Wait to see a sample of the Gold Ones. I will Definately pick up both Pairs.

    It’s a very complicated and sad situation so out of respect for the owners and employees I chose not the make “news” out of it. It was a great company run by some great individuals that went out of business and sadly tons of people lost their jobs at a tough time.

    Ya i understand. What you did was right..just a store with that caliber im just in shocked. Ive never really been into a store with that much sneaker energy( besides FLIGHTCLUB)..respects to shoe gallery, laced, bodega. well keep us informed whenever a store like that opens up ever again..

    Aye just a FYI pickyourshoes.com has the Nike Air Flightposite Pro in the black/metallic silver colorway and the Air Foamposite One “Penny Hardaway” in the black/black/cactus colorway for $139.99…which is a steal being these retail for $200….and they have them in a lot of sizes….

    CAN WE GET THE OG “PENNY” BLUE FLIGHTPOSITES THAT LEAKED BACK IN 98-99 PLEASE!?!?! that was the first color of flights i had ever seen because they were supposed to be penny’s shoe and they had pics of it on the net back in the day, then scrapped it and did the gold joints. i want those blue joints BAD!!! if you hadn’t seen them back then, the color shifted between that blue and black and it was freaking gorgeous.

    Let’s just hope Nike doesn’t play games with this colorway. Anyone remember the Black/Cactus???? Those were a must have in my book, however they opted out of the GUM BOTTOM Sole and went with the Lime Green… Destroying a possibly classic shoe…. I would be sadly disapointed if these came out in any other colorway other than the one above!

    i’m probably gonna cop,
    and i’m definitely gonna try to get the Foamposite’s.
    the Eggplant colorway is INSANELY fresh,
