“Don’t Step on my J’s” vs. “Stepped on my J’s”

Nelly sporting hideously ugly GrillA few days ago Jermaine Dupri posted a video on You Tube with a behind the scenes look for his latest video with Nelly for the song “Stepped on my J’s”. While this may be the first song dedicated to  Air Jordans to eventually be aired on BET and MTV, it is definitely not the first to be written and recorded. More than a year ago I came across a group from Memphis, ASET, with a track by the name of “Don’t Step on my J’s” on Myspace and thought I would let you, the readers decide which track you like more.

    Why did my comment get deleted when I talked about The Banggaz 314 doing the same song and being BETTER than those two put together? The comment was definitely related to the topic and no swearing and was somewhat intellectual. Man, I was like comment #42 or so. That pisses me off.

    My question is what is rap music becoming. It’s all a bunch of wack a$$ crap now. I miss the old school rap days when they actually had a point. J’s are tigh and all but if your going to express yourself express it in a way that makes a point on something as retarded as both of these songs.

    I stay in memphis but my cousin is apart of a.s.e.t nd they copyrighted their song in 2005 and a.s.e.t killed nelly i am sorry to say also ” also nelly say after school they hit the mall to be the first one with the jay’s first off number jay’s dont come out on weekdays so nelly really should have stuck to the air force ones song

    Dabanggaz314 are in STL and they did a song called ” Don’t Step On My J’s” more than a year ago, so it’s really not that big of a deal from the people in Memphis but everybody in the STL already doesn’t like Nelly because they think he hasn’t helped anybody get up which is messed up, he didn’t get any help and then he tried to help Chingy and that blew up in his face..

    Anyways.. Dabanggaz314 did it a longgg time ago
