Throwback Thursday – Purple Air Force 1 High

In a disputed and recounted vote, NYC elected the 1993 high top Purple/White Air Force Ones as their pick as the best Air Force Ones. With the win at the ballot box, those Air Force Ones will be re-released this summer in extremely limited numbers only in NYC.

This week’s Throwback Thursday sneaker is the original pair that we luckily got our hands on. It has been 15 years since released, but thankfully the wait will be over in just a few months for NY heads.

^yea the vintage looks isn’t so bad. I just hate yellow on clear soles but the rest of the stuff looks nice aged. Great stuff Matt….can’t wait for these to drop again!

they make a big deal about 1vote and they wana make these “extremely Limited” they should make a couple thousand pairs (2-3,000 ) so that we wont have to camp out for them

Miss the old leathers. Pulled out a pair of af1s from 02 yesterday and couldn’t believe how nice the leather was even then. Looking forward to next week’s throwback

if nike retros them itll be with crappy leather new midsoles and toe boxs higher then ever. nike needs to bring back quality and shape b4 it starts bringing back classics.
