We always knew that criminals prefer sneakers to shoes when committing crimes. In Britain, when it comes to running scams, Nike is the #1 choice of “trainer†among the law breaking riffraff:
Not only do they prefer the Swoosh, but it seems the criminals are specifically wearing the Air Max 95’s. They were at the top of the list. Reebok’s Classic came in 2nd place, and Nike’s Air max Limited took the bronze. A police source articulates the obvious when it comes to figuring out why crooks rock sneakers:
Ya think? Britain has gone so far as to launch the Footwear Intelligence Technology system that helps link sneaker footprints to crime scenes.
