Nike SB is no stranger to making “themed” sneakers and especially not for different cities around the world. We have the London Dunks SB, Paris Dunks SB, and the New York “Pigeon” Dunks SB which were previous released. Now, Nike SB is celebrating cities around the world with the most used form of transportation other than public transit; taxis. Nike SB made some wise choices and is making one of the sneakers to resemble the taxi cabs in Tokyo.
There will be a series of these sneakers released including New York Taxis, London Taxis, and Paris Taxis as well. Sadly, Mexico City was not on the list – I would have loved to see a candy apple green and white colorway. Pics of kicks thanks to KATC. Taxi pic from Flickr.
